ETC Announces Promotion of Katarzyna Wrzesinski and Joseph McAvoy to the Corporate Officer Leadership Team


SOUTHAMPTON, Pa., USA, February 21, 2024 — Environmental Tectonics Corporation (OTC Pink: ETCC) (“ETC” or the “Company”) today announces the promotion of Katarzyna Wrzesinski to Director of Finance and Corporate Controller and Joseph McAvoy as the Company’s Vice President of Contracts, effective February 16, 2024.

Ms. Wrzesinski, age 41, has extensive accounting experience.  She joined ETC in 2009 and has held multiple roles of increasing responsibility, including her most recent role where she served as the Company’s Corporate Controller since December 2021. Prior to joining ETC, Ms. Wrzesinski began her career at Polonia Bank, with her last role as Senior Staff Accountant.  Ms. Wrzesinski has a B.S. in Accounting from Thomas Jefferson University, graduating Summa Cum Laude.

Mr. McAvoy, age 48, joined ETC in October 2022 as Director of Contracts.  Prior to joining ETC, Mr. McAvoy spent 14 years of his 25-year career at Day & Zimmermann, with his most recent role being Senior Contract Manager.  Mr. McAvoy graduated Cum Laude from Cabrini University obtaining a B.A. in Sociology with a concentration in Criminal Justice and has Masters Certificates in Commercial and Government Contract Management from Villanova University as well as an A.S. in Paralegal Studies from Manor College.
